That what i dont get either, why bump the threads up again day after day, it amazing the info that we have from all over the internet that these has to be place in the forum here.What do the people on this site do not know how to get info about games from stats sites, i dont think so.Just happy that the nfl is not number 1 on my list. ck
I was thinking of posting a petition in the main thread , but was hoping maybe someone else that had been around longer would do it.
You'd think the powers that be could take a hint from the thread views that nobody is interested... i mean any tom , dick , or harry could post a here's my picks , follow me thread and get a hundred views , but the newsbot aint getting many.
Been there done that already. I'll admit I was against them, but once I realized they weren't going away I got with the program and I started using them for several reasons(opinions and in-game). The pointless bumping...I don't get.
I look at it like a poster starting a poll/thread for each game and people can share all their opinions in that same thread if they choose. Kind of like what The Computer Group does with weeknight college football games. Then of course posters can still start their own threads as usual.
Treat it like a strip club.....either keep driving pass or stop in and have a look around. No harm either way IMO.
Just my take fellas. I came to this conclusion because I realized they aren't going anywhere in the immediate future after talking with Wil.
bot is not as bad as i thought it wud but charging for forums? that wud kill the traffic of the site. Ive been seeing lots of activities on SBR and their new point system is awesome. I think Rx need to step up their game when it comes to creativity. You know, mayb some RX tv of ace-ace or some known cappers talking about big game events.
the Bonus Play thing is a pretty good concept, but i think they should filter the content a little better.....perhaps have members vote for quality posts, or perhaps a specific # of replies in a thread.....do we really want soonerdawg starting 50 threads a day just so he can get a $10 Bonus Play?
